Ideal for any occasion, these banana rolls are a clever way to sweeten your day.

Ingredients

  • 4 tbsp Fineti hazelnut spread with cocoa
  • 8 slices of sandwich bread, crusts cut off
  • 2 bananas
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 200ml milk
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp ground spices (cinnamon, nutmeg, clove, ginger)
  • Icing sugar to serve

Method

1

Using a rolling pin, flatten out the slices of bread.

2

Spread each slice with Fineti hazelnut spread with cocoa.

3

Cut the bananas into thin slices and place them in the middle of each slice of bread. Wrap each slice of bread around the banana to form rolls, and chill for 30 minutes.

4

Then dip each roll into a mixture made by combining the beaten egg, the milk and the spices. Melt the butter on a low heat and fry the rolls on all sides for about 4 minutes.

5

Place the rolls on absorbent kitchen paper to soak up any excess fat. Dust with icing sugar and serve.
