Sandwich biscuits

At any time of day, sandwich biscuits with Fineti hazelnut spread will excite both kids and adults!

Ingredients

Ideally, the ingredients should be used at room temperature, not straight from the fridge.

Method

Whisk together the butter and the sugar in a mixer until light and fluffy. Add the egg whites and the remaining ingredients and continue to whisk until the mixture is smooth.

Form the dough into several sausage-shaped lengths, wrap each one in baking parchment and chill until firm.

Cut each length of dough into round disks about ½ cm thick, and transfer to a baking tray lined with parchment.

Bake for about 12 minutes at 160οC in a preheated oven. As soon as the biscuits are baked, transfer them to a wire rack to cool. Note: the biscuits shouldn’t change colour, they should remain pale.

Sandwich the biscuits in pairs with ½ tsp of the Fineti hazelnut spread with cocoa. Leave them to set for a few minutes, then serve.
